Local models start when you pick one

A local model runtime stays down until a local model is selected.

Ollama (or your configured local runtime) starts when the picker selects a local model, and stops after idle time so your machine stays quiet.

Cloud models use BYOK providers you connect. Failures do not silently fall back to a local model.
